Spreading the love - Shantou, China 'Cun Xin Shan Tang' Child Centre

On 3rd October 2015, the President of DLs' Caring Community, Mr Lim Bak Chuan Desmond, donated 48 cartons toys to the Orphanage Home under Shantou Cunxin Shan Tang.

These toys were gifted to these needy children with a caring heart to ensure that they too, could feel loved & desired and enjoy the latest designs of toys like any other child.

After the presentation ceremony, Mr Lim and Mr Xie, a representative from Jujian Toys, visited the Orphanage home to personally present the toys to each and every child.

Mr Lim said that it was indeed very heart warming to see the joy on the face of the children.

He said that being an entrepreneur, it is a great pleasure to be able to care and share compassionately, especially with the needy in the society.

Mr Lim hopes that with these gifts, the children would have a joyful National Day celebration, as joyful as he has felt on this occasion.

10月3日上午，新加坡德励关怀社林睦荃总裁将48箱‘巨箭’最新款的玩具赠送给存心儿童教养院，让生活在这里的困境儿童能与其他孩子一样，玩上有趣新款的玩具。

捐赠仪式后，林总裁与巨箭玩具公司的谢先生一行来到“儿教院”看望孩子们，并亲手将玩具一一送给孩子们。

看着孩子们开心笑容，林先生表示，作为一个企业，能奉献一点爱心，尽一点社会责任，使这些孩子们过上一个幸福，快乐的国庆节，他也非常开心！

Re-visit - Lunch box giveaway at Blk 476A, Pasir Ris Dr 6

October 4, 2015

Since the kick-start on 30 Sep 2015 by Mr Lim Bak Chuan Desmond, President of DLs' Caring Community the Resident's Core Volunteers Blk 476A Pasir Ris are delighted with the daily supply of free lunchboxes. They also feedback that they are very satisfied with the menu therefore would like to keep it this way.

Today we gave away 85 lunch boxes.

今天我们的义工团队拜访了大牌476A并分发了八十五个免费午餐给该座的居民们。居民也告诉团队他们从九月三十日至今对午餐的菜色十分满意因此无需任何更动。

Another kick start of lunch box giveaway at Woodlands St 13, Blk 105

Our 6th Lunchbox Giveaway Initiative started by Dedicated Locals' Caring Community and Willing Hearts, kick started today at Block 105, woodlands Street 13, with 15 lunchboxes given away to grateful residents in the estate.

Moon Cake Festival 2015 - A Day of Giving (476A Pasir Ris Drive 6)

This morning we completed our house visits at Blk 476A, Pasir Ris Drive 6. Our purpose is to go around the block assisting residence who need DLs' Caring Community and help them with the registration to receive the free lunch boxes daily.

Today is Moon Cake Festival. In appreciation for their support we have given out 600 Mooncakes and 600 cans of Lychee.

Happiness comes not from getting something we lack, but from the recognition and appreciation of what we do have. We wouldn't have achieved it without you. Thank you!
