Residents with caring hearts

After spending the morning with my wife and son for Father's Day breakfast,  and a visit to Tampines Blk 499C, 471 and 466 for community works. I headed down with Thomas Tan to meet an enthusiastic resident, Brian for lunch.  I met Brian during our walkabout at Punggol Seventeenth Avenue a week ago, and he was impressed enough by our initiatives and sincerity that he decided to offer his assistance.

Being the "man on the ground" and coming into contact with many residents in his line of work, Brian would like to help DLs' Caring Community to source for sponsorship for the needy residents; as well as to help gather some groups of elderly and needy residents in the area where he works for our LunchBox Giveaway program.  He also has some medical practitioners' friends whom he would like to link us up with.

It was a fruitful luncheon with this helpful young man who is keen on doing his part for the country through his expertise and resources.  We hope that more people like him would come forward.
